Bay Street @ The Parrish is back with two hilarious shows coming to the intimate space at the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton. This year Bay Street @ The Parrish opens its summer season with MY SON THE WAITER, A JEWISH TRAGEDY, running for 2 weekends only-Fridays and Saturdays July 23- 24 and July 30-31. In MY SON THE WAITER, A JEWISH TRAGEDY, Brad Zimmerman weaves an intricate and bittersweet tale of one man's lengthy struggle to make it as an actor in New York. PArt Theatre, part stand-up, his homey send-ups on his childhood, family, career and misbegotten love life are as warm and poignant as they are hilarious.
Zimmerman is a member of the New York Friar's Club, one of the most famous entertainment clubs in the world and has helped roast numerous high profile celebrities. Zimmerman, who had a role on the hit HBO series, "The Sopranos", has worked with some of the most recognizable names in comedy, even serving as the opening act for both George Carlin and Joan Rivers. Says Ms. Rivers, "I've had 3 great opening acts in my lifetime: Billy Crystal, Garry Shandling, and Brad Zimmerman."Videos
