"The Battery's Down," a new online television series, will premiere its second episode this Saturday, March 1, on YouTube featuring a slew of Broadway guest stars.

Filmed in a style similar to "Curb Your Enthusiasm" or "The Office," "The Battery's Down" chronicles the life of young actor Jake Wilson in New York City.  Each twenty-minute, two-part episode will premiere at 12:01AM the first of every month and will also include fellow performers portraying themselves.

With a theme song composed by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Edges, "Johnny and the Sprites"), each episode will be written and directed by Wilson and will also feature a new song by a talented musical theatre writer or writing team, including Bryan Louiselle (High School Musical, High School Musical 2), Laurence O'Keefe (Legally Blonde, Bat Boy!), David Kirshenbaum (Vanities, Party Come Here), Josh Salzman and Ryan Cunningham (I Love You Because), and Ryan Scott Oliver and Kirsten A. Guenther (Alive at Ten).

The second episode, entitled "The Unsinkable Molly Black" will guest star Matthew Morrison (South Pacific, The Light in the Piazza), Ann Harada (Avenue Q, Les Miserables), Natalie Weiss, Michael Ziegfeld and Ana Nogueira as Molly Black.

Cortney Wolfson (Les Miserables), Ryan Watkinson (Xanadu, Movin' Out), Dani Spieler, and Nina Sturtz will once again join Wilson as series regulars for Episode 2.  The episode will feature two original songs: "You Should Be In That," with music and lyrics by Josh Salzman and Ryan Cunningham, and "Like Love" with music and lyrics by Adam Wachter and Jake Wilson.
