Bailey Hanks and Briana Carlson-Goodman, Leads RENT-Inspired SPEARGROVE PRESENTS, 4/5

New York Theatre Barn presents Bailey Hanks and Briana Carlson-Goodman in Speargrove Presents- a new musical based on actual events. With direction by Joe Barros & Laura Brandel the production will celebrate New York Theatre Barn's 3rd Anniversary with this special one-night only benefit.  Speargrove Presents will take place on April 5 at 8 PM at the Julia Miles Theatre. Speargrove Presents is the product of UNTITLED 4: Project Collaboration.

In the tight-knit community of Speargrove, Texas where the high school musical is the event of the season, an impending production of Rent shakes the town to its core.  The musical features a book by Sammy Buck and songs by Daniel S. Acquisto, Barbara Anselmi, Sammy Buck, Michele Brourman, Sam Carner, Joshua H. Cohen, Brian Feinstein, Derek Gregor, Brandon James Gwinn, Will Larche, Sheilah Rae, Charlie Sohne & Sam Willmott.

New York Theatre Barn celebrates its 3rd anniversary with UNTITLED 4, the fourth installment in the UNTITLED series which began with NYTB's inception in 2007. The series has grown from a collection of concerts that showcased work from promising new musicals to last year's UNTITLED 3D, a film and live performance fusion, which explored the process, product and perspective of three musical theatre writing teams and their eclectic new musicals (including Punk, Group Therapy and the Innovative Theatre Award winning Like You Like It). With UNTITLED 4, NYTB will form an artist collective comprised of composers, lyricists, book writers, actors, directors and choreographers to collaborate on an original full-length musical. The premise of the new work will focus on a diverse community challenged by an issue that eventually forces them to come together. The experimental project will challenge the process by which we currently develop new work and focuses on the multi-collaboration of all the artists involved.
