Baby Ian Falls Down a Well, the hit comedic play written by and starring Ian Lockwood and Sophie Zucker, returns to New York City this fall following an extended run last year at Brooklyn's Annoyance Theatre NY. A biting, contemporary story with the occasional musical number, Baby Ian Falls Down a Well is about a grown-up Baby Jessica (known for following down a well in 1987), and an aspiring child star, Baby Ian, who is envious of the Jessica's early notoriety. Baby Ian Falls Down a Well will perform in Manhattan at The Peoples Improv Theater's Striker Stage on September 8th, 14th, and 15th.

In this riotously inappropriate experimental play, aspiring child star "Baby Ian" (writer Ian Lockwood) falls down a well while distracted by a giant turkey leg. There he meets Baby Jessica (writer Sophie Zucker), grown-up and religious, taking refuge from her slightly high profile, though still unfulfilling, life. Unsure if help will arrive, they must learn to adapt to their forced cohabitation, even if the only things they have in common are a taste for the outlandish and a thirst for attention. Directed by Philip Markle, the former artistic director of Brooklyn's Annoyance Theatre NY, BABY IAN FALLS DOWN A WELL is a hilarious and relevant comedy that marks the arrival of two up-and-coming creative talents.

Baby Jessica was the first child to fall down a well. Baby Ian will be the second.

ABOUT IAN LOCKWOOD
