The big day is here! As of early this morning, Hamilton, captured live on stage at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in 2016, is available to stream via Disney+.

Today, the countdown continues as we rewind to May 2016, when the show was nominated for a record-breaking sixteen Tony Awards. Watch as Randy Rainbow sings what everyone was thinking that spring!

On the morning of May 3, 2016, it was announced that Hamilton had broken the record (previously held by The Producers and Billy Elliot) for the most Tony Award nominations ever. On June 12, the musical mostly swept very category, taking home a whopping eleven awards, including Best Musical. After the Tony Awards, Hamilton went on to win the Pulitzer Prize, a Grammy Award, and a Kennedy Center Honor, amongst many other accolades.
