We are close to the night of the show, the costumes have arrives and this whole week has been a dress rehearsal. Thursday afternoon is our last rehearsal and it won't be a dress, we will just run through the show. Friday is opening night!

I love my happy villager costume. It is a purple dress with a white design and a white apron that ties around the waist. It also comes with a bonnet that has a crochet pattern around the rim.

My Duloc costume is slightly too big but I like it. It is a red leotard with blue leggings, a red and blue vest and a skirt that's also red and blue. But my Pied Piper costume is awful. It is a navy blue jacket with half a shawl connected to it. It also sports blue leggings and a navy blue newsboy cap with feathers. The feathers came off during the rehearsal and some things that we thought would come with it aren't there.

My pipe still hasn't arrived. I have a feeling that I won't have a pipe because today every piece of scenery and every prop was there. My pipe is the only thing missing. Perhaps I can craft one from a tube or something.

Every costume seems to have some kind of problem. One of the three bears got two left gloves so he just wears one backwards and has paws that are two different colors. The girl who plays Lord Farquaad doesn't like her costume because it doesn't quite fit her right. I actually was asked to audition for Lord Farquaad, probably because I'm short, but I didn't get it. Now that I've seen the costume, maybe that's a good thing.

The scenery is beautiful. Shrek has a huge house and it's amazing. He burst out if it in the beginning. There are huge posters that say "Shrek" on his house's walls. There are huge painted backdrops for each of the different scenes and they're amazing.

The girls dressing room is so incredibly hot. It's also very small and everyone is crammed in. So far I'm enjoying this production so much. I hope that in middle school, I will get to be in both of the two school productions.

Our art talent students made posters to hang on Queens Boulevard. They are ads so others can come and see our show. Most of my family plans to come and so do a lot of my friends. I'm not sure they'll be empty seats for anyone else.
