Playhouse Creatures Theatre Company is honored and excited to announce its upcoming production of Tennessee Williams' "The Two-Character Play." The limited run will take place at The Duo Multicultural Arts Center, June 29-July 16.

Directed by the legendary Austin Pendleton, he says of the play: "I don't think I have ever worked on a play as unstintingly personal... It's like a goofy Greek tragedy, in which two outrageous people are made (by themselves) to face the darkest truths about themselves."

Williams' fugue of a play brilliantly intertwines fantasy and reality, as brother (Felice) and sister (Clare) are two touring actors abandoned in an isolated theatre by their troupe. One of Williams' most personal plays, it evolved through several versions. Williams said of the play: "I think it is my most beautiful play since Streetcar."

Produced by the multi-nominated and award-winning Playhouse Creatures Theatre Company, the production stars Irene Glezos (Clare) and Joseph W. Rodriguez (Felice); Scenic Design by Brooke Van Hensbergen, Lighting Design by Tanner Simpson; Sound by Quentin Madia; Properties and Production Team, Megan O'Leary; Graphic Design by Jake Leibowitz; Production Stage Manager, Robert Neapolitan; Assistant Stage Manager, Patrick Surillo; Press Relations, Remy Souchon.

Tickets are now on sale, ranging from $15-$49. To purchase tickets, visit www.playhousecreatures.org or brownpapertickets.com/login.html.
