American soprano Joanna Mongiardo is recognized for her effortless coloratura and spellbinding charisma on stage, and is in high demand for both operatic and symphonic repertoire internationally. This season, she makes her New York City Opera debut in Resphigi's La campagna sommersa, returns to Boston Midsummer Opera as Adina in The Elixir of Love, and sings soprano solos in Exultate, jubilate and Requiem with the Commonwealth Chorale.

Balancing her love for opera and song literature, pianist Rachelle Jonck maintains a busy vocal coaching studio and enjoys guest teaching, recital collaborations and conducting engagements. This season she conducts Rossini's Petite messe solennelle at the Caramoor Festival, debuts at Baltimore Concert Opera and Opera Delaware, and is a guest coach with the University of Missouri-Kansas City, the University of Missouri, and Palm Beach Opera's Benenson Young Artist Program.
