Art Anand PKC To Exhibit at Eye Art International Exhibition

Internationally renowned painter Anand PKC has been selected to exhibit his work in the prestigious Eye Art International Exhibition at The United Nations Headquarters in New York City. Anand has received recognition by the media and Art world for his dedication to Realism and capturing the beauty of nature. Anand's previous shows in New York have received strong reviews from media and covered by The New York Daily News and TV Asia. Anand has also received extensive coverage from media in Asia. The Eye Art International Exhibition will feature works by artists from China as well as other countries from which Eye Art has invited the artists to build international dialogue through their culture and art. ?One of Eye Art's goals was to inspire Chinese youth to interact with different cultures and to think about global responsibilities and issues. The exhibition will be displayed on the first floor Delegate Entrance. Anand was born in India and currently lives in New York City, USA. He displayed his gift as an artist at a young age and received support from his mother who encouraged his natural talent. In school he won several prizes for his art work as well as regional awards as a junior. After graduation, Anand worked with his father on business ventures then returned to his gift and become a full time artist. His first public art exhibition in the United States was Art Expo 2011 in New York City. He has also exhibited his art at hotels, Lena Di Gangi Gallery & Studio (solo show), Gateway ART Center NYC, Peter Louis Gallery, Greenpoint Gallery in New York City. His first solo exhibit at Walter Wickiser Gallery in 2013 was featured in the New York Daily News and TV Asia satellite channel that was aired in USA & Canada. Anand has also been featured in Contemporary Masters Vol 6, World's Important Artist List, Everything Is Art Magazine and Talent In Motion Magazine. His honorable awards include ARC Approved Living Artist Award and The Art of Fashion First Place Juried Artist Award. He has also won the grand prize of International Art Competition held by Everything is Art Magazine 2012.
