Tune in this WED. Aug. 28th, 2013 at 12:35 PM (est) to join the conversation with..."Mr. Showbusiness" on Jimmy Ferraro's "Theatre Chat and This 'n That!", broadcasting LIVE on WWJB - regionally and nationally on the world wide web. This week's guest is award-winning Broadway and recording star Ann Morrison.

Ann Morrison made her Broadway debut as Mary Flynn in Stephen Sondheim's MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG directed by Harold Prince for which she won the 1982 Theatre World Award. In 2007, Harold Prince asked her to return to Broadway in LOVEMUSIK. On the West End in London, she starred in the new musical PEG (based on "Peg O' My Heart"). Off-Broadway she received a Drama Desk Award Nomination for the role of Lizzie in the musical GOBLIN MARKET, and was an original cast member of the popular revue Forbidden Broadway.

In Los Angeles, she starred in ANYONE CAN WHISTLE and won a Drama-Logue Award for BLAME IT ON THE MOVIES II. Ann is currently opening in "NOW YOU KNOW, an Evening of Steve, Lenny, and Annie" on Monday, September 2, 2013 at 54 Below - 254 W 54th St, Cellar - New York City .

With backstage stories woven in and around songs from two of her musical mentors - Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim, Broadway vet Ann Morrison tells it... Like It Was. Join her for an evening of classic show stoppers when Ann (Merrily We Roll Along, Lovemusik, Goblin Market) shares her intriguing and unusual life journey. After being embraced with a thunderous ovation this past May when she made a special guest appearance in 54 Below's Sondheim Unplugged series, it became clear that Annie needed to come back to New York City and her musical roots. This evening of classic Broadway songs will be under the music direction of Michael Sebastian. Plus..ANN HAS ANOTHER NEW PROJECT IN THE WORKS...find out more...
