Alli Mauzey, Jared Zirilli and More Set for Today's Reading of 'I GOT FIRED' Musical

The reading will feature Alli Mauzey (Wicked, Cry Baby), Jared Zirilli (Lysistrata Jones, Wicked), Adinah Alexander (Kinky Boots), Kevin Michael Murphy (Book of Mormon), Jennifer Sanchez (Ghost, Spider-Man), Aaron Kaburick (Motown, Sister Act), Pearl Sun (If/Then) & Keith Varney (Best Actor, Daegu International Music Festival).

Steve Bebout directs, with Musical Direction by Andew David Sotomayor and Casting by Geoff Josselson. Denise Wilcox is the Stage Manager.

I Got Fired is a semi-autobiographical musical about Keith, an aspiring writer working in a soul- crushing office job. When an evil nemesis emerges to squash his coffee-stained hopes and dreams, he decides to take revenge with the most devastating weapon available: Musical Theatre. Some names have been changed to protect the guilty.

The musical originally premiered at the New York Musical Theatre Festival, where it received the "Theater for the American Musical Award." It was subsequently named "Best Foreign Musical" at the Daegu International Music Festival.
