A special presentation with Alicia Graf Mack, Juilliard's school Director of the Dance Division, and PS64 and PS140 students of Dance to Unite!

Dance to Unite, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that teaches and celebrates cultural diversity through dance. Dance to Unite partners with various after school programs in NYC, including those organized by Educational Alliance, to bring free dance classes, combined with cultural education, to NYC's underserved students.

Educational Alliance brings together and partners with diverse communities in Lower Manhattan, offering individuals and families high-quality, multi-generational programs and services that enhance their well-being and socioeconomic opportunities. Educational Alliance runs after school programs in community schools across the Lower East Side, including PS 64 and PS 140.

Each Dance to Unite class meets once a week (October to June) and culminates with a dance performance at the end of the school year. Throughout the year, each class receives a special presentation with a high caliber artist/dancer.

Alicia Graf Mack is the current Juilliard School Director of the Dance Division. Alicia's dance background is as a principal dancer with Alvin Ailey and The Dance Theater of Harlem. She will join public school students from PS64 and PS140 for a special dance presentation tomorrow!

Date: Wednesday, January 16th

Time: 3:00-4:00pm
Location: PS140, school's auditorium.
Address: 123 Ridge Street / Manhattan's Lower East Side
