Join African Burial Ground National Monument during March as it celebrates Women's History Month. Women's History Month is an annual observance in March which honors and celebrates the struggles and achievements of American women throughout the history of the United States.

Saturday March 21, 2015, 1PM: Craft Workshop by Vickie Fremont. Members will create their twin using provided cowry shells, traditional African fabrics, and African glass beads.

Wednesday March 25, 1PM: Dramatic Performance of Branch Street Productions' Flight a funny and poignant journey through the millennial black female experience. Our three glamorous flight attendants guide the audience through a series of stories that highlight a conflicted reconciliation between cultural past and modern identity.

All events and activities are free and open to the public, however space is limited and available on the basis of first come, first served.
