Adam Pascal has canceled his 7 pm performance tonight at 54 Below due to illness - but the show must go on. Pascal's former RENT co-star Anthony Rapp has agreed to step in, and will perform both the 7pm and 9:30pm shows this evening, it was announced this afternoon.

Those who purchased tickets for Pascal's show may attend Rapp's 7pm show, or can swap tickets for Pascal's for rescheduled performance on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 7pm. 54 Below will also be offering full refunds.

Pascal made his Broadway debut originating the role of Roger in Jonathan Larson's Rent, a role which he also played in the Off-Broadway premiere and later in London, and for which he received a 1996 Tony Award nomination.

He also originated the role of Radames in Broadway's Aida by Elton John and Tim Rice. His other Broadway credits include the final Emcee in the Sam Mendes/Rob Marshall production of Cabaret and the final Huey in Memphis. Pascal's other careet highlights include co-producing the Off-Broadway hit Fully Committed, performing alongside Queen's Brian May and starring as Freddy Trumper in Chess alongside Josh Groban and Idina Menzel.
