A.C.T. And Macy's Union Square Announce 2nd Annual A DICKENS OF A HOLIDAY

Event committee chair Adriana López Vermut announced today that American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) and Macy's Union Square will ring in the holiday season with the 2nd annual A Dickens of a Holiday, a festive, Dickens-inspired event on Sunday, December 16 in Holiday Lane at Macy's Union Square (255 Geary St., 7th Floor). Beginning at 11 a.m., guests will be treated to arts and crafts, strolling carolers, holiday-themed treats and libations, as well as special performances by cast members from A.C.T.'s celebrated production of A Christmas Carol and students from A.C.T.'s Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) Program and Young Conservatory (YC). Those who have purchased VIP event packages, which include tickets to the 1 p.m. performance of A Christmas Carol, will be escorted from Macy's to A.C.T.'s Geary Theater by a group of roaming carolers beginning at 12:30 p.m. A Dickens of a Holiday is free and open to the public.

VIP tickets ($125-$1,000) for A Dickens of a Holiday are available and include tickets to the 1 p.m. performance of A Christmas Carol, and access to a special VIP lounge at Macy's Wine Bar with holiday treats, libations, and activities. Sponsorship packages ($2,500-$15,000) are also available and include tickets for under-resourced Bay Area families to attend a performance of A Christmas Carol free of charge. Proceeds from the celebration will support A.C.T.'s artist training and education and community programs serving 20,000 young people across the Bay Area each year.
