A Mother, a Daughter and a Gun Extends Through Nov. 27

Barra Grant's comedy A Mother, A Daughter and a Gun has extended one week through Sunday, November 27.  When it closes, it will have played 19 previews and 30 regular performances in New York.  A Mother, A Daughter and a Gun began previews on October 15 and opened on November 1, 2005 at Dodger Stages. 


Directed by Jonathan Lynn, the cast features Academy Award-winner Olympia Dukakis (Moonstruck, Steel Magnolias), Tony Award-nominee Veanne Cox (Caroline, or Change, Company), George S. Irving (Irene, Me and My Girl), David Bishins, Mario Campanaro, Katrina Ferguson, Matthew Greer, Laura Heisler, Stephanie Kurtzuba and Daniel Pearce. According to press notes, the show is a "dark comedy about mothers, daughters, and the emotional fireworks only they know how to trigger...A Mother, a Daughter and a Gun takes aim at the kind of explosive relationships we can all understand."

The performance schedule is Tuesday at 7 PM, Wednesday at 2 PM and 8 PM; Thursday and Friday at 8 PM; Saturday at 2 PM and 8 PM; and Sunday at 3 PM.
