THE NEW YORK MUSICAL THEATRE FESTIVAL (NYMF) presents reading of KT Peterson and Cedric D. Lyles' 7:32, directed by Laura Braza (The Attic Theater Company).

When the Pacific Express crashed through a poorly built railroad bridge, the questionable practices of the Robber Barons first gripped the public's imagination. A tale of America's original Big Business catastrophe – the Ashtabula Disaster – set to a gospel, folk and bluegrass score.

Playing at The 45th Street Theater (upstairs, 354 West 45th Street, New York, NY 10036). Performances are Tuesday, July 10th, 2012 at 8:00 pm & 9:00 pm and Thursday, July 12th, 2012 at 7:00 pm.

The cast includes Emily Afton, Tory Andrus, Max Bisantz, Stephen Mitchell Brown, Anthony Comis, Sequina DuBose, Randy Dunkle, Dayna Graber, John Kevin Jones, Susannah Jones, Mark Emerson and Brandon A. Wright.

KT PETERSON is the 2009 winner of the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival Music Theater Award (Book), O'Neill Fellow (2009) and was nominated for the National Playwriting Award for 7:32, written with Cedric D. Lyles. She was a finalist for the 2012 Jerome Fellowship with her play M's Teeth. She was a 2007 WordBRIDGE playwright with her play The Sunman of Molón, part 1 of a 3-play cycle. She has sung with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and Indiana Repertory Theater. Her plays include Faith Iowa, Mr. Boniface the Wise, Balau and the Top of the World, and Beware Captain Redpants. Current projects include the geranium (a novel) and screenplays Empty Plot and The Ballad of Longwood Glen. KT is a company member of The Forge Theater Company (www.theforgenow.com). CEDRIC D. LYLES is Artistic and Musical Director of Artscentric in Baltimore, Maryland, Upper School Music Teacher at Garrison Forest School, and Resident Musical Director for Toby's Dinner Theater. Original works include Strictly Christmas, Corrie: The Life of Coretta Scott King, Black Nativity, and 7:32. He attended the Levine School of Music and received his B.A. in Music from Morgan State University. Cedric received his Graduate Diploma in Arts management from American University in Washington, D.C.
