'30 Rock' Goes To 'Jersey Boys' on Thurs 12/13

BroadwayWorld has learned that on Thursday (December 14) night's episode of NBC's "30 Rock," Liz Lemon's (Tina Fey) mother visits New York City and the two go see The Jersey Boys on Broadway. Margaret Lemon is played by Broadway vet, Anita Gillette. Check local listings for NBC channel and air-time. Originally, it was reported that the duo would go see "Xanadu."Set within 30 Rockefeller Plaza, "30 Rock" follows the comic going-on backstage at a "Saturday Night Live"-esque TV variety show. Created by Tina Fey (Mean Girls, "Saturday Night Live"), "30 Rock" stars Fey, Baldwin, Krakowski, Tracy Morgan and others.
