In a new initiative, the nominations for The Olivier Awards 2014 will be announced at Rosewood London, the Olivier Awards official hotel partner, and simultaneously live streamed to audiences worldwide at 11.30am (07.30am USA EDT) on Monday 10 March.

The announcements will be made by Olivier Award winners from the last two years: Nigel Harman, who is starring in I Can't Sing! at the London Palladium; and Leigh Zimmerman, about to open in Noël Coward's Relative Values at the Harold Pinter Theatre. There will also be an exclusive performance from Billy Elliot The Musical, winner of last year's BBC Radio 2 Audience Award.

The nominations announcement will be live streamed at www.olivierawards.com.

We are also delighted to celebrate our partnership with New York's Tony Awards®, with the live stream also available simultaneously at www.tonyawards.com (07:30 EDT).

The Olivier Awards 2014 will be held on Sunday 13 April at the Royal Opera House, London, and further details of the ceremony will be announced over the coming weeks.

On the night, the Society of London Theatre is delighted to be partnering with VisitBritain and London & Partners on a live screening of the awards for an invited audience at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at the Lincoln Center.
