2013 Pet Day and Pet Costume Contest Set for Deno's Wonder Wheel Park, 6/15

The 3rd Annual Pet Day & Pet Costume Contest at Deno's Wonder Wheel Park and the Coney Island Boardwalk will take place on Saturday June 15th (rain date June 16th). Hosted by The World Famous *BOB*. "A birds-eye view for every dog, cat, fish and snake in town, from atop the NYC Landmark Wonder Wheel."

Take Fido on The Wonder Wheel, Saturday June 15th for Deno's Wonder Wheel Park's annual Pet Day. Pets Ride Free when accompanied by their owner from noon-7pm!

At 2pm, participate or just enjoy The Coney Island Pet Costume Contest on the Boardwalk, (in front of Deno's entrance near west 12th), hosted by The World Famous BOB and judged by proud pet owners, Shelly (The Singing Siren) Watson, Mr. Gorgeous and Serpentini, (The Shirley Temple of the Sideshow.) and Diane Vourderis!

The Contest will be followed by a pet procession through Wonder Wheel Park.

1st prize: Season pass for Deno's Wonder Wheel & $150 gift certificate to Petco

2nd prize: Day Passes to Deno's Wonder Wheel Park & $75 gift certificate to Petco

3rd prize: Day Passes to Deno's Wonder Wheel Park & $25 gift certificate to Petco

The contest will be limited to 25 entries, and registration is on a first come first-serve basis. Pre-registration is encouraged; visit www.wonderwheel.com to download an application or register from 12:30-1:30 on the boardwalk registration table across from Deno's Park, next to the stage.

All registrants must bring 2 cans of cat or dog food as an entrance fee. All cans will be donated to The Sean Casey Animal Rescue that will have an adoption vehicle on 12th street for the day.
