Rudetsky Ends Broadway Chatterbox at Don't Tell Mama
According to Time Out New York, Broadway favorite Seth Rudetsky will conclude his weekly Broadway Chatterbox at Don't Tell Mama. The series, which has been entertaining theatre lovers since 1999, benefited Broadway Cares/Equity Fight AIDS.
Rudetsky, who will continue his Chatterbox gig with Sirius Radio, said of the development "I was pretty much booking both of them, and they were so similar, and they were literally in a row. One of them had to be ixnayed."
Rudetsky added, "I booked a once-a-month show at the Triad, because I'm doing my show [Deconstructing Broadway] all around the country now and it's good to have a home base. And my boyfriend was like, Why don't you do the Chatterbox but expand it and make it like This Is Your Life? Because so many celebrities are friends with other celebrities, and it's interesting to find out what they're like with their friends. So this is going to be my new thing: one celebrity with their group of friends around them."
Don't forget to check back with BroadwayWorld to see Rudetsky's latest show later this week!
