After considerable critical and audience acclaim, after being extended three times at The Players Theatre where it played for 18 months and 180 sold-out performances, after moving to the THIRTEENTH STREET THEATRE ( 50 West 13th Street - between Fifth and Sixth Avenues) where it will play through December 2011 with an option to continue through 2012, "THE ACCIDENTAL PERVERT" Andrew Goffman's hilarious tour-de-force-of-honesty will open a Second Company in Argentina at the ND/Ateneo in Buenos Aires' Cultural Center.

The Argentinean Premiere is set for FRIDAY, AUGUST 19.

The Press Performances for both Argentinean and American reviewers, editors and reporters begin on TUESDAY, AUGUST 16.

The ND/Ateneo, located at 918 Paraguay, is a 700-seat luxurious grand old theatre that plays host to the Annual International Jazz Festival. It is also a fine all-around and much sought after event space, showcasing film premieres, folk concerts, music events, international touring bands and several classical tango dance troupes. The theatre boasts a high-end stellar roster of international performers, an historic atmosphere and delightful monthly cultural programs.

"THE ACCIDENTAL PERVERT" is being produced in Argentina by Trongroup Latin-American Broadway in association with Amin Deroui.

It will star Cabito (Eduardo Massa Alcantara) comedian, TV and radio star in Argentina.

"THE ACCIDENTAL PERVERT," which began performances in New York on December 4, 2009 has become a major Downtown-Destination-Hit.

Most have labeled it hilarious. Certainly the Press Corps has. The audiences continue to grow as does the interest in Mr. Goffman's film version of this Off-Broadway autobiographical tell-all phenomenon.

The stars are aligned to repeat these accomplishments in Argentina.

ABOUT "THE ACCIDENTAL PERVERT"

At the very top of his one-man-theatrical-circus-of-full-disclosure, author/star Andrew Goffman offers the evening's warning bell in the form of an alarmingly candid disclosure: "Ya know, none of us starts out to be a pervert." The evening picks up speed from there. "THE ACCIDENTAL PERVERT" is the true accounting of one boy's odyssey to manhood via a childhood dominated by pornography, an addiction accumulated after the boy happens upon his father's collection of xx-Rated video tapes in a bedroom closet, just to the right of his golf clubs, above the cowboy boots, behind the sweatshirts, all the way up in the top left hand corner. Andrew Goffman takes his audience on a hilarious and self-deprecating journey into a world of video vixens, X-Rated fantasies, and really DIRTY movies with no redeeming value whatsoever. He found the tapes at 11 years-of-age. The addiction controlled him until he was 26. THE YEAR HE MET HIS WIFE.
