KOAT Albuquerque is reporting that the fire which destroyed Musical Theatre Southwest on Tuesday was the result of arson. As previously reported the theatre warehouse that housed the Musical Theatre Southwest burned to the ground yesterday. The fire began Tuesday afternoon and continued to burn into the day on Wednesday. Despite the fire department's efforts the roof of The Warehouse caved in.

The renowned Canadian singer and Ferguson's 13-piece orchestra will be 'live, on air' in a booming, authentically styled Big Band Broadcast at the Spencer Theater at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 8, performing a vast repertoire of upbeat tempos from the late 1930's and 1940's. Adorned with period-rich glamour, panache, humor, blazing solos and delightful choreography - just as in the live broadcasts from starlit ballrooms of days gone by - the BBB is a sentimental journey that beckons folks to get up and dance!
