The Satin Dollz Announced At Spencer Saturday, April 13

Roaring 1940s big band sound, tight vocal harmonies, and fabulous tap dancing is the great gift of The Satin Dollz, a group of 6 sparkling beauties whose charismatic USO-styled salutes have inspired audiences to swing around the world.

Based in Los Angeles, Paris, and London, The Satin Dollz, are comprised of powerhouse entertainers handpicked from Europe, Australia, and the United States. Their next call to entertainment duty is to "Sing, Swing & Sizzle!" at the Spencer Theater on Saturday, April 13 at 7 p.m. Under the musical direction of jazz trumpeter Chris Tedesco and his 5-piece band, the glittering gals will sing and tap 40s' classics like "Sing, Sing, Sing," "In The Mood" and "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" - songs made famous by Glenn Miller, the Andrews Sisters, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Prima and others - tunes that stirred the world!

Call it vintage, call it nostalgia, call it pure fun: The Satin Dollz have all the razzle-dazzle that lets you escape back in time at the Spencer Theater. Excellent seats ($39-$65) are available at the Spencer Box Office. Call 336-4800 or go online to www.spencertheater for tickets and information. A pre-show roasted red chile turkey buffet ($20) is also available at 5 p.m. The Dollz will also be on hand post-performance for photos in the Crystal Lobby.
