Flamenco Fiesta del Teatro Paraguas to Welcome Compania Chuscales y Mina Fajardo, 11/13
Flamenco Fiesta del Teatro Paraguas is proud to present Companía Chuscales y Mina Fajardo in concert at Teatro Paraguas on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 7:30pm at Teatro Paraguas.
Jose Valle "Chuscales," is the Guitarist, Artistic Director, Musical Director, and Composer for the Companía. Born in Spain, he began learning flamenco guitar at age 6. He has a long and distinguished career, performing in Santa Fe with Maria Benitez Flamenco and with Juan Siddi Flamenco.
Mina Fajardo is the Assistant Artistic Director, Choreographer and Dancer for Companía.
She has received extensive training in flamenco (with many renowned artists), Escuela bolero, jazz, Tap and ballet. She has performed with many artists including Elena Andujar, El Pripi, La Tibu, Carmen Rasarao, Chuscales, YiYi, Silverio Heredia, Tequila de Jerez,
Omayra Amaya, Jose Cortes, Manuel Gutierrez, Kina Mendez, Juan Siddi and Keiko Isshiki.
Joining Chuscales and Mina is Fernando Barros Lirola as the cantador, or singer.
Since 1980 he has performed in concerts and at Andalusian flamenco festivals around the world. He is a singer (cantador), composer, writer and innovator specializing in flamenco music, with emphasis on bringing voice to the poets and writers of Spain, notably Federico Garcia Lorca, Antonio Machado, Juan Ramon Jimenez, Miguel Hernandez and Miguel de Cervantes.
All three artists have appeared several times on the Teatro Paraguas stage before standing-room-only audiences.

Flamenco Fiesta del Teatro Paraguas will also host the Pajarito Spanish Dance Alliance in concert on Saturday, November 7 at 7:30pm. The concert, Flamenco de Aqui!, features artists Ronaldo Baca on guitar, Nicolasa Chávez on vocals, and dancers Mina Fajardo, Catalina Rio Fernández, Sara de Luz and Elena de Los Alamos.
