The Pink Room Burlesque Presents Mulholland Drive Burlesque & Franny’s FLICKS Burlesque, 6/29

About The Pink Room: The Pink Room has taken the New York burlesque scene by storm by producing shows such as Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet, Wild at Heart & Franny's FLICKS Burlesque. This series would not be complete without honoring one of David Lynch's most critically acclaimed films, Mulholland Drive. The Pink Room will present Mulholland Drive Burlesque hosted by Schaffer the Darklord of Epic Win Burlesque at Parkside Lounge on June 29, 2011. Very special, surprise guest to be announced! This is a one time performance - not to be missed!

2011 marks the 10-year anniversary of Mulholland Drive's release for which David Lynch received  an Academy Award nomination and Franny Fluffer sees no better way to pay tribute than with blue boxes, boobs & banana hammocks. For her creative efforts in The Pink Room, Franny Fluffer hopes to win an Anatomy Award so that she can take a trip to Hollywood and giver her acceptance speech: "I, Franny Fluffer, would like to thank the Anatomy...you like me, you really, really like me!"

Franny's FLICKS will once again kick off the evening with cinema-inspired burlesque acts by some of New York's favorite performers. Previous performances at Franny's FLICKS have been inspired by: Grease, Planet of the Apes, Ghostbusters, Rosemary's Baby, 007, Pulp Fiction, Flashdance & Harry Potter. This month's Franny's FLICKS will debut a brand new act inspired by... you guessed it - Juno!!!

Once again, Parkside Lounge will be offering The Pink Room specialty cocktails throughout the evening with Mulholland Drive playing on the screens in the front lounge. Make sure to stay after the show for trivia night, which will have a final round of David Lynch trivia! Prizes to be won all night!

For $10 advanced tickets and $15 at the door, this is a bargain for a whole night out!
