Ballyturk vs Dr. Scroggy's War#1
Posted: 5/31/14 at 12:08pm
Going to see a couple of shows in early September--definitely Curious Incident plus one or two others. Am looking at Enda Walsh's new show "Ballyturk "at the National starring Cillian Murphy and Steven Rea, versus a new World War I-set new play ("Dr. Scroggy's War") at the Globe, in which one of the main characters was the true-life father of reconstructive plastic surgery, doing what he could for wounded soldiers. Any scuttlebutt I am missing on either? Both seem to be hot tickets. They're close to sold out for previews the only two nights I could attend, so I need to act fast and can't wait for reviews from the premiere of Ballyturk this summer in Galway.

(I may break down and see both, in addition to Curious Incident, but am not sure I want to go to shows for my last three nights in a row.)
