Andrew Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Group announced that sales of a new recording of Any Dream Will Do by Lee Mead, winner of the BBC TV series of the same name, have raised £57,000 for this year's BBC Children in Need appeal.

The single, which was released by Polydor under licence from RUG, also includes Close Every Door performed by Lee and the other two finalists Keith Jack and Lewis Bradley.

For every penny donated to BBC Children in Need, a penny will go towards projects helping disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.

Lee will be performing live on BBC Children in Need on Friday 16 November before rushing back to the Adelphi Theatre to take part in a special performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat to benefit the appeal.

There are limited seats still available for this performance, book here
