Corden told the Mail he hopes to be "riding a BMX bike around Los Angeles, with other on-screen talent joining him as he reaches the CBS studio" during the opening credits.

Abrams is currently helming STAR WARS: EPISODE VII - THE FORCE AWAKENS and recently directed STAR TREK and STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, SUPER 8 and more.

Tony Award winner Corden (Broadway's ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS), a multi-faceted performer, host, writer and producer with accomplishments that span television, theater, film and comedy, will make his late night television debut as host of THE LATE LATE SHOW.

Corden comes to American television with a growing list of award-winning and critically acclaimed credits, including Rob Marshall's feature film adaptation of INTO THE WOODS.

"The Late Late Show with James Corden" premieres Monday, March 23, 2015 on CBS.
