Emily O'Keeffe won Best Supporting Actress in a Fringe/Regional Musical at this year's 2013 BWW:UK Awards - here she is with her certificate!
She tells us what she's enjoyed most about the past year in theatre...
I would have to say my favourite show I went to see in 2013 was Once. I thought the storytelling was beautiful, the music was heart-breaking and the actors definitely deserved the standing-ovation they received!
The Book of Mormon and Merrily We Roll Along at the Harold Pinter Theatre were some other highlights...but my favourite memories of 2013 all pretty much involve our production of Fiddler on the Roof. Having not really known much about the show (blasphemous, I know...) before joining the UK Tour, I've really fallen in love with it. The music, the story lines and particularly the lovely little family I get to tour the country with. It's always a great feeling to be in a special show that you are really proud of!
On my hit list of shows to see in 2014, the obvious choices are Miss Saigon and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. I'd like to see The Light Princess before it closes, and praying for a West End transfer of American Psycho so I can catch it!
And last but not least, I won't be missing out on seeing Angela Lansbury in Blithe Spirit!
For me, I'm looking forward to getting back on the road with Fiddler in 2014. Then who knows what the future may hold...never a dull moment in theatre!
