The National Tour of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical of 2005, Monty Pythons SPAMALOT, begins performances tomorrow Tuesday March 7 at Boston's Colonial Theatre. Other cities confirmed for the tour are below, with more dates to follow.

Chicago's Cadillac Palace Theatre: April 19-June 4
Washington, D.C.'s National Theatre: June 6-July 9

Pittsburgh CLO's Benedum Center: Sept. 19-Oct. 1
Charlotte's Blumenthal Performing Arts Center: Nov. 28-Dec. 10
Atlanta's Fox Theatre: Feb. 20-March 4, 2007
Baltimore's Hippodrome Theatre: March 6-18, 2007

Directed by eight-time Tony Award-winner Mike Nichols, Monty Python's SPAMALOT features a book by Eric Idle, based on the screenplay of Monty Python and the Holy Grail by Monty Python creators Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin, with music and lyrics by Eric Idle and John Du Prez. Tony Award nominee Casey Nicholaw is the choreographer. 

Sold-out since it opened on March 17, 2005, Monty Python's SPAMALOT remains the hottest ticket on Broadway, continuing to break box office records at The Shubert Theatre.

Lovingly "ripped-off" from the internationally famous comedy team's most popular motion picture, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Monty Python's SPAMALOT is the winner of three 2005 Tony Awards including Best Musical and Best Director (Mike Nichols), as well as the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards for Best Musical.

Productions of Monty Python's SPAMALOT have been announced for The Palace Theatre in London's West End and at the Wynn Las Vegas. The National Touring company of Monty Python's SPAMALOT will be lead by Bradley Dean, Tom Deckman, Jeff Dumas, Pia Glenn, Christopher Gurr, Richard Holmes, Michael Siberry and David Turner.
