Actor's Theatre Of Charlotte Hosts Acting for the Camera Course, Register By 9/10

This 4-week course covers all the skills an actor needs to audition for and work in television, films and commercials. No experience is necessary to participate in this exciting, informative and enjoyable course. Award-winning Producer/Director, Elyse Williams gives each student maximum on-camera time, constructive critique and valuable "insider" information to help the actor begin a lucrative acting career.

MONDAYS - September 14, 21, 28 and Oct 5, 2009
7:00PM - 8:00PM except for September 21 when class will begin at 7:30PM

In this weekly class, the participant will learn:

The Tools of the Trade
How to Audition
10 Things an Actor must have to Succeed
Differences in Film and Stage Acting
How to Use Natural Abilities to Your Advantage
What Talent Agents, Casting Director, Producers and Directors do
How to Focus on the Role
Networking and Marketing Skills
Set Etiquette
How to Make Money in the Film, Television and Commercials

Be prepared to be on time, work scenes both during and after class, be taped and critiqued and work hard. This is class is designed to maximize the actors success in the industry and minimize negative energy or self-defeating tendencies.
