By harnessing the inherent beauty of ballet to create fresh, forward-thinking dance, Trey McIntyre Project can be so inventive it boggles the mind. In his signature pieces, McIntyre explores Americana by taking on such themes as religion, superstition, family, friendship, and love. McIntyre has created over 80 works for companies such as American Ballet Theatre, Stuttgart Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, New York City Ballet, and Ballet de Santiago. Performing the brand new works Blue Until June and Free to be You and Me, Trey McIntyre Project draws audiences into dance’s power to transform, heal, and enlighten. “When so many people are trying to figure out how to make ballet accessible, Trey McIntyre is doing it” (Dance Magazine).
