The Union Theatre presents CALL ME MADAM! Fabulous American party hostess Sally Adams finds herself flying the Atlantic (checkbook in hand) to be the American Ambassador to a small impoverished European country! This tongue in cheek look at American foreign policy is spun around a phenomenal score by Irving Berlin which includes 'You're Just In Love', 'The Hostess With The Mostess' and 'It's A Lovely Day Today'. 

CALL ME MADAM is directed by Michael Strassen whose last production, The Fix, at The Union Theatre earned 7 Off West End nominations and is currently directing Ruthie Henshall's new one women show for The Hippodrome, London. Choreographed by Mark Smith (Iolanthe, Union Theatre and Wilton's Music Hall / Opening ceremony of the Paralympics). The Musical Director is Ross Leadbeater. Designed by Chris De Wilde and produced by Sasha Regan and Associate Producer, Paul Callen.

Starring Lucy Williamson as Sally Adams - (Joanne in Company at The Union Theatre /
End of the Rainbow (Standby to Tracie Bennett) / Marguerite / Les Miserables / Fame / We Will Rock You). Lucy will be appearing as guest vocalist in Friday Night is Music Night for BBC Radio 2 on Friday 21st September.

Also in the cast are Leo Miles, Natalie Lipin, Blake J Askew, Ralph Birtwell, Jay Worthy, Gavin Kerr, Hans Rye, Carmen Vass, Julia Jade-Duffy, Luke Jarvis, Matthew Mcloughlin, Jenna Moore, Dawn Williams and Liam Wrate.

Press Night is Friday October 5th at 7:30pm. The show runs from tonight, October 3rd to Saturday October 27th, 2012. Tuesday to Saturday performances are at 7:30pm and Sunday performances are at 2pm & 6pm. There is an extra Matinee on Saturday 27th October at 3pm.
