Fans of Shakespeare can enjoy the return of Propeller to Sheffield Theatres this month as they launch their national tour at the Lyceum Theatre from Thursday 23 January to Saturday 1 February with two of Shakespeare's most loved plays, The Comedy of Errors and A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Propeller is a world-renowned theatre company, passionate about engaging audiences with Shakespeare in innovative and modern ways. Sporting sunglasses and Hawaiian shirts, the characters in The Comedy of Errors bring a fresh new look to this quick-witted farcical tale of two sets of estranged twins who find themselves in the same city after 25 years apart, with mistaken identities and hilarious mishaps aplenty.

In Propeller's adaptation of Shakespeare's most magical play, A Midsummer Night's Dream, prepare to be enchanted when two pairs of lovers become entangled in fairy mischief on the eve of a Royal Wedding. Dreams and reality become interchangeable as audiences are led into a world of magic and romantic chaos.

The productions will be performed on the Lyceum stage on different nights throughout the week. Please see sheffieldtheatres.co.uk for more information, or ask at the Box Office for full listings.

A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Comedy of Errors will be performed on stage at the Lyceum Theatre from Thursday 23 January - Saturday 1 February. Tickets are on sale now priced from £14.00 - £26.00 and can be purchased by calling the Box Office on 0114 249 6000 or by visiting sheffieldtheatres.co.uk (a transaction fee of £1.50 (£1.00 online) applies to all bookings made at the Box Office, excluding cash).
