- Propeller Theatre Company announces upcoming season following the enormous international success of A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Comedy of Errors
- Pocket Propeller productions are 60-minute versions of Propeller's highly acclaimed full-scale tours, specifically aimed at young people and first-time theatregoers
- UK tour of Pocket Dream begins September 2014, with Pocket Comedy to follow in 2015

As their hit international tour of A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Comedy of Errors reaches its final UK venues, Propeller Theatre Company has today announced plans for their upcoming season of work.

September 2014 sees the first ever revival of Pocket Dream, a 60-minute version of Propeller's award-winning production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, which has played to packed houses around the world. Love and illusion collide in Shakespeare's most magical play, when two pairs of lovers become entangled in fairy mischief on the eve of a Royal Wedding. Dreams and reality become interchangeable within the romantic chaos that ensues, and misplaced passions are ignited as appearances become ever more deceptive.

Propeller's Pocket initiative launched in 2009 and is the ideal introduction not only to Shakespeare, but also to the thrill and excitement of theatre. It aims to deliver a first class theatrical experience in a compact but uncompromised 60 minutes. The ensemble of experienced Propeller actors creates a relaxed and engaging atmosphere in which to enjoy the performance, as well encouraging the audience to give a frank and uninhibited response in an open talkback session afterwards.

In Spring 2015, Pocket Comedy brings Shakespeare's most farcical play to schools and theatres around the country in an unforgettably fast and funny production, suitable for all ages. Two set of twins, separated at birth, find themselves in the same city 25 years later, with hilarious consequences. Pocket Comedy was first toured in 2011.

Pocket Dream and Pocket Comedy will be directed by Edward Hall and designed by Michael Pavelka.

A free Pocket Dream education pack and interactive online resources will be available to download at: www.propeller.org.uk

In September 2012, Propeller launched Propeller Play - a unique, interactive microsite designed to enhance the Propeller experience, taking users "backstage" to discover more about the company. Propeller Play can be found at propeller.org.uk/play. The website has separate areas dedicated to Sound & Lighting, Music, Acting, Directing, Costume, Design and Production, as well as an Out-Takes section. For educational groups, it is the ideal accompaniment to a visit to the theatre, allowing pupils to learn more about the process of putting together a production and the various roles involved.
