This Christmas, The Watermill celebrates the 150th Anniversary of Lewis Carroll's much loved novel with a brand new stage adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, running until Sunday 3 January 2016.

Written for The Watermill by Robin Belfield and Simon Slater, this brand new production reunites the creators of the Newbury theatre's 2014 sell-out Christmas show, Peter Pan.

The cast features Josie Dunn as Alice, with Polly Highton as The Duchess, Oliver Izod as The Mad Hatter and Zara Ramm as The Queen of Hearts. The White Rabbit is played by Ed Thorpe and The March Hare by Alex Tomkins.

Directed by Robin Belfield and featuring original music by Simon Slater, Alice in Wonderland is designed by Neil Irish and lighting designed by Mark Dymock.

Join Alice in an enchanting world of talking animals, a bad-tempered Queen and a Mad Hatter for an unforgettable musical adventure. Chasing a mysterious white rabbit with a pocket watch, Alice tumbles down a rabbit hole and into a world of fun and adventure. There she meets the colourful characters of Wonderland and hears their fantastical tales. After a mad tea party, a curious game of croquet and a nail-biting trial to find out who stole a very special plate of jam tarts, will Alice find her way home?
