Encounter Productions will present WILD PARTY at The Rag Factory on Saturday 14th September 2013, from 7pm at 16-18 Heneage Street, E1 5LJ London.

Performance company Encounter Productions are throwing a wild party to mark their first birthday, and to help raise money for their current projects. The event, taking place at The Rag Factory off Brick Lane, will feature invited artists and performers, and marks the end of a hugely successful first year for the company. From waltzing flash mobs to audio walks and films about love, Encounter are rapidly gaining a reputation as one of the UK's most exciting new companies.

The night will feature a wildly eclectic mix of music, art and performance - with cocktails, dancing and even face painting. There'll be cabaret performance from the cast ofHalbwelt Kultur, which premiered at New Wimbledon Studio earlier this year with a sell out run and a brand new solo show from War Horse actor and puppeteer, Sarah Calver. Music comes from singer / songwriter Sam Way, funky soul band Mojo Filter, creep folk Duo Beach Violence and fresh from the summer festival circuit, folk sensationSpy from Moscow.

And if that's not enough to fill your sensory palettes, the gallery walls will be adorned with contemporary and experimental film, projection and art for sale from Emma Shoard, Simon Gerrard, ReuBen Ross and Stuart York.

Currently working towards several new projects, including a multi disciplinary performance supported by ARC in Stockton, as well as projects with Watford Palace and The Point. The company are currently looking to raise additional funding and to reach new audiences with their work. The event costs just £5.50 in advance (£7 on the door), including a free cocktail, and proceeds will help Encounter continue their work over the next year.
