Due to popular demand, all-male Dance Company BalletBoyz are embarking on a second leg of their UK tour of Life, for which the award-winning company will be joined by a brand new member, and they will be returning to the Wyvern Theatre on Fri 28 October. The production, which received its world premiere at London's Sadler's Wells in April of this year to widespread critical acclaim, initially toured over April and May. The show features new commissions by Javier De Frutos and Pontus Lidberg. For this leg of the tour, Josh Wild will be making his BalletBoyz debut with Life, having been recently selected to join the all-male company. Wild joins BalletBoyz from Scottish Dance Theatre. The piece is co-produced by Sadler's Wells in association with artsdepot.

Artistic Directors Michael Nunn OBE and William Trevitt OBE met at the Royal Ballet Upper School and joined the Royal Ballet together in 1987. During their twelve years at The Royal Ballet they danced all the principal male roles inRomeo & Juliet, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker, Mayerling and many more and created roles for choreographers Kenneth MacMillan, Twyla Tharp, David Bintley, Christopher Wheeldon and more.

They co-founded BalletBoyz in 2001 and immediately made a huge impact on the dance scene. They danced all over the world for ten years and won numerous awards and accolades working with leading dancers, choreographers and designers. 2010 saw their retirement from the stage and the first edition of the groundbreaking project theTALENT. Michael and Billy selected eight young male dancers from a variety of backgrounds and worked with them closely, mentoring and coaching to create a company of first-class performers. Now in its fifth year, the Company has expanded to ten dancers and regularly tours the UK and internationally. In 2013 BalletBoyz won the National Dance Award for Best Independent Company.

The show features an original score and the evening takes an elegant, powerful and provocative look at life and death, presented in BalletBoyz' inimitable style.

The current BalletBoyz Company includes: Jordan Robson; Harry Price; Marc Galvez; Simone Donati; Matthew Rees; Edward Pearce; Matthew Sandiford; Flavien Esmieu and Bradley Waller.

Balletboyz will be at Swindon's Wyvern Theatre on Fri 28 October, with tickets priced at £21.50. Group discounts are available.
