Mr Kelly will be presented with the JC Williamson Award honouring his extraordinary career at the 15th annual Helpmann Awards Ceremony to be held at Sydney's Capitol Theatre on Monday 27 July.

For one special night, Broadway's biggest stars come together under the direction of lyricist and composer Neil Berg for an event like no other. Covenant House will honor Board of Directors Philip J. Andryc and Louis Rauchenberger and present the Beacon of Hope Award to Martina McBride at the 2015 Night of Broadway Stars on Tuesday, June 9 at 6:30 PM at Jazz at Lincoln Center, located at Broadway and 60th Street, Manhattan.

The Downtown Urban Theater Festival announces that acclaimed playwright/director/actor Danny Hoch will receive the 2015 DUTF Playwright Masters Award at this year's Opening Night event, which will take place tomorrow, May 12th at 8:00 p.m. at 40/40 Club (6 West 25th Street, NYC).

Inside Broadway's Executive Director Michael Presser has announced that on Monday, June 15, the organization will honor renowned opera singer Renee Fleming (who starred on Broadway this season in Living on Love) and Broadway & TV star Tony Danza (who starred on Broadway this season in Honeymoon In Vegas) at their annual Beacon Awards. Taking place at The JW Marriott Essex House (160 Central Park South), the Broadway Beacon Awards are presented to individuals in the theatre and Times Square community who have been advocates for increasing the audience for live theatre and for understanding the importance of Arts and Education in the lives of New York City's young people. The first Broadway Beacon Award was given to Carol Channing in 1995.

On June 7th, Broadway veterans Deborah Cox (Aida, Jekyll & Hyde) and Justin Guarini (Wicked, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown) will host the seventh annual simulcast of the Tony Awards (presented by Clear Channel Spectacolor), live from Times Square. The free event, which is open to the public, will feature special guest appearances and live performances. The Nevada High School Musical Theater Awards is a community-wide celebration that honors the future stars of the stage. It all takes place on Sunday, May 17, 2 p.m. at Smith Center's Reynolds. Tickets are $10 and are on sale now.
