The Tony Awards Administration Committee announced today the Nominating Committee for the 2015-2016 Broadway season.  The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

Last night (May 19), The Alliance for Women in Media, presented the 40th Anniversary of The Gracies Awards to a packed house at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA. Tracee Ellis Ross hosted the gala, which also celebrated the organization's 40 years of achievements. In honor of that milestone, The Gracies Commemorative Awards were handed out on stage to honorees in recognition of their stellar accomplishments over the years. Guests were greeted by the musical talents of DJ Amy Pham. During the Commemorative Awards ceremony, music icon Linda Perry performed a striped down version of 'What's Up,' and a moving rendition of Christina Aguilera's 'Beautiful.' Scroll down for photos!

The Tony Awards have announced a portion of the line-up of performances for the 69th Annual Tony Awards. The American Theatre Wing and the Village Voice just presented the winners of the 60th Annual OBIE Awards. The Public Theater's Hamilton by Lin-Manuel Miranda (including special citations for Andy Blankenbuehler, Thomas Kail, and Alex Lacamoire) received the OBIE Award for Best New American Theatre Work, which is accompanied by a $1,000 check. The Signature Theatre's Founding Artistic Director James Houghton received the OBIE Award for Sustained Achievement. The New York Drama Critics' Circle previously named Between Riverside and Crazy, by Stephen Adly Guirgis, best play of the 2014-15 season. Hamilton was named best musical. Theatre East and Yale Alumni Association of New York will present Elizabeth Parrish with the Laurette Taylor Award on Thursday, May 28th at Ramscale Studio South, 463 West Street, in the West Village Highline district, NYC. The benefit starts at 7pm with an exclusive cocktail reception, followed by dinner at 8pm. The award will be presented to Ms. Parrish by Kate Mulgrew (Orange is the New Black). The ceremony will include tributes by alumna Meryl Streep and the Stella Adler Studio's Artistic Director, Tom Oppenheim.
