Guitarist Brian Gore has united some of the world's foremost acoustic guitarists in a unique and intimate event at the Scherr Forum Theatre on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 7:30 p.m.

Each year, Gore invites three guitarists to present their latest works, they perform together, sharing musical ideas and demonstrating the diversity of the acoustic guitar world. Joining Gore in 2014 will be contemporary steel-string guitarists Pino Forastiere from Italy and Mike Dawes from England as well as Quique Sinesi, an Argentinean master of guitar and charango. "These four talented musicians bring so much diversity and passion to each performance - a treat for every acoustic guitar fan" (Arizona Republic).

American "guitar poet" Brian Gore's playing contains a "bounce and spaciousness all his own" (Los Angeles Times). He created International Guitar Night in 1995 and has since released multiple albums and books on fingerstyle guitar.

Italian steel-string guitarist Pino Forastiere fuses classical, contemporary and rock genres as he "employs a dazzling blend of slapping, tapping, strumming, altered tunings and harmonics, combined with classical phrasing and a focus on distinct and addictive melodies" (Guitar Player).

UK fingerstyle guitarist Mike Dawes has developed a multifaceted repertoire of sound in his short but successful career, fusing Celtic, rock, jazz and experimental music to create a product all his own. With his "beautiful and sensitively played arrangements and compositions" (Acoustic Magazine), he has gained praise from artists like Gotye, Frank Turner and Justin Hayward and released his debut album, What Just Happened?, this past April.

The percussive performances of Quique Sinesi showcase a blend of his global background, drawing from his native Argentina's tango and folklore, as well as jazz, classical and world music.
