Beginning June 24, the Palladium is bringing a summer filled with blues, jazz and more to its intimate nightclub stage, the Side Door Cabaret.

Hot blues Acts: Sarasota Slim; St. Pete Blues Allstars, Chicago jump blues; Sandy Atkinson and the True Loves; Damon Fowler Group; Doug Deming and The Jewel Tones, 50s Chicago blues, and Sean Chambers.

Cool jazz Performances: Katt Hefner in a tribute to Nancy Wilson, Jimmy McGriff and Jimmy Smith; acclaimed jazz drummer Ronnie Burrage and his band,and Brazilian boss nova and samba with O Som Do.

Adding Spice to the Summer Brew: the St. Petersburg Opera presents Madama Butterfly; Heartbeat - Where The Great Mystery Begins, A Journey of Music and Dance, presented by Moxy WomenTM; Jim "Kimo" West, Hawaiian slack key guitarist; Coo Coo Ca Choo, classic 60s rock; Grant Peeples, southern singer-songwriter; the St. Pete Body Building Show, and two theatre productions [title of show], an Obie Award-winning Broadway musical, and Lourdes of the Flies, A Savage New Comedy by Bill Leavengood, the writer-director of Webb's City - The Musical!.
