A 64-year-old man was arrested Tuesday night after throwing his cell phone at one of the musicians and subsequently assaulting a security guard during a performance by the Madrid Community Orchestra. An employee was also injured and had to be taken to the Samur-Civil Protection.

The man faces a sentence of six months to three years in prison. In the symphony hall of the National Auditorium of the street of Prince of Vergara, the Community of Madrid Orchestra was performing under the direction of Emilio Aragón and Víctor Pablo Pérez. Javier Perianes accompanied them on the piano.

According to reports, the man got up from his seat, began protesting, then took out his cell phone and threw it at the musicians. Security guards came to the area and escorted him out; however, the man resisted arrest and assaulted one of the employees who came to help.
