One of India’s greatest and most revered musicians, Amjad Ali Khan is the unrivalled master of the musical instrument, 17 to 25 stringed fretless lute, sarod. With voice-like sonority and superhuman speed and clarity, Khan’s artistry has gathered him legions of fans across the globe. He has recorded dozens of genre-defining albums, created original works, collaborated with a staggering array of artists and has accumulated an impressive collection of awards. He performs with his two sons Amaan and Ayaan Ali Khan both virtuosos in their own right. The trio is accompanied on Tabla by the talented Satyajit Talwalkar.
