Victor Legra, Anthony Crouchelli & M.O.V.E for Autism presented 'Putting the Pieces Together: Volume 2' featuring the music of Carner and Gregor, Rosser and Sohne, Maglione and Ruiz, Joey Contreras, Justin Anthony Long, Jonathan Lee & Joanna Burns; David Dabbon, and Will Van Dyke. Today, we're featuring Paul Lynde, circa 1981. A noted character actor with a distinctively campy and snarky persona, Lynde was well known for his roles as Uncle Arthur on Bewitched and Harry MacAfee, the befuddled father in Bye Bye Birdie - both the stage musical and the film-version. He was also the regular 'center square' guest on the game show Hollywood Squares from 1968 to 1981 and was the voice of Templeton the gluttonous rat in the Hanna-Barbera productions Charlotte's Web and The Hooded Claw in The Perils of Penelope Pitstop. THE HINTERLANDS, a free musical web series about teenage gay bullying, officially launched on October 28, 2013 at a special event held at The New 42nd Street Studios. At the event, special guest speaker James Clementi of The Tyler Clementi Foundation shared some touching words about his younger brother Tyler and underscored the importance of being a light for young people who were struggling with thoughts of suicide. Connor Russell (Disney's Aladdin world premiere), star of THE HINTERLANDS, performed "Like It Here," a song from the fifth episode of the series. Katie Thompson (GIANT), backed by 13 students from the Professional Performing Arts School in Midtown, sang "Worthy," which will be part of the sixth episode of THE HINTERLANDS.
