Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts ('The Wallis'), Deaf West Theatre and Cody Lassen present Deaf West Theatre's innovative new production of the eight-time, Tony Award-winning Best Musical Spring Awakening, opening tomorrow, May 28. This production is performed simultaneously in American Sign Language and spoken English by a cast of 27 for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 7, 2015 in the Bram Goldsmith Theater. The annual All-Ohio Show is one of the most exciting projects that the Ohio EdTA offers to Thespians in Ohio. Each Thespian troupe may send up to six registered, inducted Thespians to audition for the cast and six registered, inducted Thespians to interview for crew positions. Once chosen, cast and crew only have three rehearsal/build weekends and one and a half days of tech/dress rehearsals in which to create an amazing production. The All-Ohio show is the featured opening show of the Ohio EdTA State Conference. The All-Ohio show intends to provide participating students with the experience of working on an advanced level of theatrical production. Involvement in the All-Ohio show is a special honor for the participants and schools, as well as an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

Just last night, Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) presented its landmark 30th Anniversary Gala, at The Pierre (2 East 61st Street at 5th Avenue). Directed by Neil Pepe with musical direction by Matt Gallagher, the annual gala celebrated thirty Atlantic seasons with an evening of music and performances from the Atlantic Ensemble and celebrity artists and honor Charles R. Bendit and Paul E. Pariser, co-CEOs of Taconic Investment Partners for their long-time partnership with Atlantic.

Beck Center for the Arts and Baldwin Wallace's Musical Theatre Program have, for the past four years, collaborated to produce some outstanding productions. CARRIE, SPRING AWAKENING and NEXT TO NORMAL all received Cleveland Critic Circle and Times Tribute recognitions.

Vineyard Theatre presents the world premiere of the musical BROOKLYNITE, helmed by Tony Award-winning director Michael Mayer (HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, SPRING AWAKENING) and beginning performances Friday January 29th, with an opening night set for Wednesday February 25th. This limited engagement continues through Sunday March 22nd. The company met the press earlier today and BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek at the cast below!
