Bay Street Theater and Friends of Bay Street announced today that architecture firm Roger Ferris + Partners will design the Theater’s first purpose-built home, which will house multiple spaces for the development of new work, dedicated education facilities and public spaces.

Manhattan By Sail, New York's premier sailing company, has teamed up with several of Manhattan's hottest restaurants to provide a unique dining experience on the harbor.

On Saturday at the Shaftesbury Theatre the Military Wives Choir shared the stage with the full company of From Here to Eternity to mark today's anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, an event integral to the plot of the musical. Introduced by Tim Rice, the choir of 36 joined the company for a moving curtain call rendition of Boys of '41 - the song in the show dedicated to the soldiers who lost their lives in the attack.

On Sunday, January 20, famed Irish Tenor Anthony Kearns performed at the Maryland Democratic Party's Ball to celebrate President Obama and Vice President Biden's second Inauguration. The sold-out gala was held at the Gaylord Hotel in National Harbor. See photos from the performance below!

Harbor Lights Theater Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Tamara Jenkins and Associate Artistic Director Jay Montgomery, completes the company's third season of professional Equity theater on Staten Island with Rodgers and Hammerstein's THE KING AND I, starring a cast of Broadway veterans and scores of local youth and children. Westport Country Playhouse stages the world premiere of a new comedy, "Harbor," written by two-time Tony Award nominee Chad Beguelin and directed by Playhouse artistic director Mark Lamos, now through September 15. The cast includes Tony Award nominee Bobby Steggert (Broadway's "Ragtime"), Emmy Award nominee Paul Anthony Stewart ("Guiding Light"), Kate Nowlin and Alexis Molnar. Bay Street Theatre showed the Hamptons a fantastic party last Saturday, July 21, 2012 at its annual Rock The Dock Summer Benefit Bash. The evening kicked off with a cocktail hour and silent auction, while guests arrived dressed to party on the Long Wharf in Sag Harbor. Special guests included Bay Street Board Members Chris Bauer (True Blood) and Broadway, film and television actress Mercedes Ruehl; Tony Award winner and star of the upcoming BIG MAYBELLE: SOUL OF THE BLUES Lillias White, and the show's writer and director Paul Levine, and more. Bay Street Theatre's Patron Party on June 30 was hosted by John and Lindsay Landes at their waterfront home in Sag Harbor.

In honor of Fleet Week, Broadway's own super hero Spider-Man, welcomed real American heroes from the U.S. Armed Services to New York City, sailing into New York Harbor aboard the USS Wasp in the "Parade of Ships" earlier today. Spider-Man was given a tour of the ship by the Admiral, took photos with sailors, and gave a salute to everyone onboard for their service.

Tony Award-winning composer/lyricist Lin-Manuel Miranda and the cast of 'Bring It On: The Musical' took part in a celebration kicking off the ation tour of the musical on October 22, 2011. Also there were cheer squads from Narbonne High School (Harbor City), Mira Mesa High School (San Diego), Hart High School (Santa Clarita) and Santa Monica High School (Santa Monica); dance squads from St. Genevieve High School (Panorama City) and Los Alamitos High School (Los Alamitos); Glendale Community College's cheer squad, UCA cheer and dance instructors and a pep band. Guest hosts included KIIS FM's JoJo, Telemundo's Jorge Bernal and Hannah of 'The Glee Project.'

Miracle House, a New York City charity that provides temporary housing, meals and advocacy to caregivers and patients coming to the city for critical medical treatment, hosted its 11th Annual Cocktails by the Bay event, hosted by Tony-winning actress and ardent Miracle House supporter, Joan Allen in Sag Harbor, New York.

Bay Street Theatre's 2009 Summer Gala Benefit Bash lit up the Long Wharf in Sag Harbor this past Saturday evening, treating guests to a celebration of the 60's from start to finish, providing a groovy good time for all!

'How much are you willing to change for the one you love?' is the premise of Bay Street's first Main Stage production of the 2009 Summer Season, the betwitching romantic comedy Bell, Book and Candle. Written by John Van Druten, the play served as the inspiration for the hit television series Betwitched and was also a 1958 film starring Kim Novak and Jimmy Stewart.

'Purple Hearts' a new play by Burgess Clark about the real-life events of sailors who survived aboard a sunken battleship post-Pearl Harbor, opens September 8
