Photo Coverage: Joan Allen Hosts Successful Benefit for Miracle House
Miracle House, a New York City charity that provides temporary housing, meals and advocacy to caregivers and patients coming to the city for critical medical treatment, hosted its 11th Annual Cocktails by the Bay event, hosted by Tony-winning actress and ardent Miracle House supporter, Joan Allen in Sag Harbor, New York.
The summer sunset cocktail party featured cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, music by Peter Martin Weiss & Jane Hastay, and spectacular silent auction. The auction continues to be one of the most highly anticipated shopping events of the entire season. This year, it included over 70 exciting packages including fantastic trips to Paris, Miami, as well as beautiful artwork and unique experiences, like a Libby Langdon design consultation, a "One Life to Live" walk on role, and many more. Following the cocktail party, sponsors enjoyed a private dinner "under the stars", also hosted by Ms. Allen.
Cocktails by the Bay is in its 11th year and has become one of the most popular and well attended Miracle House events. All proceeds raised from Cocktails by the Bay go directly towards the Miracle House Caregiver and Patient Program.
Sponsors included Amy Chanos, Gioia DiPaolo, Steven and Susan Felsher, Jean Gordon and Len Fogge, Hans Li and Jennifer Kouvant, Gerry Logue and Sean Cassidy, Tim McGuire and Amy Rhodes, Carolyn Reidy, Michael Selleck, Cory Shields and Terry Coombs, Meredith Wagner, and Lynn Williams.
Miracle House provides temporary housing, meals, and advocacy to caregivers and patients coming to New York City for critical medical treatment. Founded in 1990 by a small group of friends responding to the AIDS crisis, Miracle House now supports over 1,000 people annually coming to New York City for critical medical treatment.
