Get a first look at Theatre Royal Bath Productions' Blithe Spirit, Noel Coward's classic comedy starring BAFTA-winning comedian, actor and screenwriter Jennifer Saunders
Playwright Noel Coward's effervescent 1930s comedy "Private Lives" will be the fourth and final play of the Hampton Theatre Company's 2018-2019 season, opening on May 23 at the Quogue Community Hall and running through June 9.
Having already extending the run of the show twice, Artists Rep will present Noel Coward's elegantly comedic classic, Blithe Spirit, this holiday season. This production is directed by Christopher Liam Moore, an Oregon Shakespeare Festival company member, who directed our 2013 hit comedy Red Herring, and who recently returned from a stint on Broadway with the Tony Award-winning All the Way. Blithe Spirit starts previews November 25 and has already been EXTENDED through January 4. BroadwayWorld brings you photos of the show below!
Noel Coward is noted as being one of the most creative dramatists, writers, composers, lyricist, painters and wit of the Western World. In fact, through his creations he is noted for virtually inventing the concept of 'Englishness.' It has been noted that, 'he was defined by his Englishness as much as he defined it.'
Ruthie Henshall, Alison Steadman, Robert Bathurst, and Hermione Norris star in BLITHE SPIRIT which just opened at the Apollo Theatre in the West End. The production had played Bath's Theatre Royal from November 3-13, the Brighton Theatre Royal from November 16-21, Cambridge's Arts Theatre from November 22-27, the Milton Keynes Theatre from February 14-19 and the Richmond Theatre from February 21-26.
